Water for my Camels | Paul Grimmond

In this book Paul gives a clear and Biblical explanation of God’s good purpose for marriage and how that shapes our thinking about dating.

He helpfully analyses how our society, media and backgrounds have shaped our expectations (for better or worse!). He makes us aware of the dangers and confusion this brings with warmth, honesty, wisdom and humility. Paul shows us that living God’s way is truly good – even with the complex emotions involved. This is an accessible, helpful, practical book that addresses lots of common questions on this important topic!

Who is this book for? Anyone who’s considering dating or marriage and anyone with young adults in their lives who are considering dating. I’d also recommend this book to everyone who wants to understand God’s word on marriage better and how that impacts a Christian’s view of dating.

Water for my Camels has been a great book to develop my understanding so I can be helpful to others who are thinking through these things. It’s a great book to give away to young adults before or as they start considering dating and to friends who have young adults in their lives so they can initiate thoughtful and helpful conversations when the time comes.
